Betty Jo Taylor

Betty Jo Taylor is the Director of Sales and Design. Betty Jo joined our Buckingham Greenery team over 16 years ago! She started off as a Horticultural Service Technician, maintaining plants in Charlottesville and nearby area commercial interior space. Betty Jo's responsibilities include prospecting, consulting, specifying, and designing interior spaces with interior landscapes and containers.  This includes special events and holiday decorating.

One of her favorite things about working at Buckingham Greenery is the plant material itself.
“Plants clean the air of impurities, make people feel better and more productive and they add life to a sterile environment.  People spend more time indoors than they used to, so it makes sense to bring nature inside to them.  Plants are good for us…” said  Betty Jo.

We asked Betty Jo to name her favorite plant and interior design:  “I like so many different types of plants; it is difficult to pick just one.  My favorite interior landscape designs are ones in which unusual and trendy containers are used with just the right plants to make a statement just like artwork.”
