Buckingham Greenery is proud to support this charity that provides financial support to families who can't afford life-saving cancer treatments for their pets.

Buckingham Greenery is Proud to accept the VMSDC "Lasting Impressions" award for 2010.  This award is presented to a certified minority business for the outstanding professional image exhibited in the business community.  The Lasting Impressions award is voted on by industry peers.

Industry Insights: Second Building in U.S. Gets LEED Credit for Use of Indoor Plants

Our thanks to friend and colleague Joe Zazerra, Chair of Green Plants for Green Buildings' LEED Advocacy Committee, who shared this exciting news:

Albuquerque New Mexico's West Corporation was recently awarded Silver LEED Certification in part through the use of indoor plants, only the second project to do so in the U.S. Credit for the use of live plants indoors was given under LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), the third party rating system offered through the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
